The primary (master) indoor unit consists of  two 20 x 4 LCD displays driven by an 18F452 PIC chip using weather display’s customtextout file. A batch file, main.bat, checks to see whether there is new data available. If there is it calls another batch file, send.bat, which runs realterm from the command line using a virtual comport viia USB to the PIC circuitry.
